I specialise in using remote sensing to identify Caravanserais along the Silk Road.
My main interest is in Islamic architecture and heritage, especially Caravanserais.
I hold a master’s degree in Project Management. However, I am fascinated with Islamic architecture and heritage. Most of my research experience has been on remote sensing using Google Maps and ArcGIS to explore and identify heritages along the Silk Road and MENA region.
I joined EAMENA as a research associate in 2021. My research project with EAMENA is working on adding, assessing and analysing around 500 caravanserais located in Iran to the database to provide a digital map of the Caravanserais of Iran.
