Danlei Zhou

I volunteered part time for EAMENA under the supervision of Dr Bijan Rouhani, analysing satellite imagery from across the Middle East to identify possible archaeological sites.

I have recently finished my MSc in Archaeology at the University of Oxford, specialising in Asian archaeology, cultural tourism, and public archaeology. Having taken the Archaeology and GIS module at Oxford, I now volunteer on the EAMENA project to further develop my skills in archaeological landscape analysis and GIS. My interests include understanding the relevance and values of heritage in contemporary contexts, to contribute to promoting public engagement and the management of the built heritage.
