Dr Amy Jane Barnes

I am a researcher, curator and writer with a background in art history, visual culture and museum studies

My role is to produce pop-up displays explaining the goals and aims of the EAMENA project, to tour seven of the countries and territories covered by the Cultural Protection Fund component of the EAMENA project.

I am a researcher, curator and writer with a background in art history, visual culture and museum studies. I was awarded a PhD in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester in 2010. I have worked in museums as a curator and researcher, as a heritage consultant working on audience development and interpretation plans for a number of Heritage Lottery Fund projects across the country and, in academia, as a lecturer and researcher.
