Elaine Russell-Wilks was the Administrator for the EAMENA project, responsible for managing and coordinating field work, laboratory studies, and conferences and workshops. She is a geography graduate with extensive project administration experience, most recently on the Palaeodeserts project where a multidisciplinary team examined environmental change in the Arabian Desert over the last one million years.
Previous roles were in web and book publishing, including the BBC World Service where she researched and published information for a website of political personalities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
